Kathy Sabine joined 9NEWS in the spring of 1993 and has won a mantle full of awards for her work, including seven Heartland Emmy Awards for best meteorologist, five CBA awards and two AP awards, one for news writing. She joins Vic and the two trade stories from their time in the TV trenches where Kathy shares the most nervous she’s ever been, what it was like doing The Today Show in Rockefeller Center, the weirdest (and most bizarre) viewer feedback she receives, and how long she plans to keep at it. She and Vic also share stories of their overcoming of cancer, and Kathy encourages everyone to get their skin checked as soon as possible.
