Eric Clapton will play a limited run of concerts in North America this year, and Denver is among the five concerts the guitar legend announced.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will be playing with Jimmie Vaughn at Ball Arena on September 16th. With such hits as Layla (1970), I Shot the Sheriff (1974), Pretending (1989) and Tears in Heaven (1992) — among countless others — the legend has a high powered arsenal of hits to choose from. Along hits from stints in the supergroup Cream, Blind Faith and of course The Yardbirds.

This will be Clapton’s first Denver show since a tour stop at Ball Arena with Stevie Winwood all the way back in 2009.

Pre-sale will start on March 28th. The general tickets will be going on sale March 31st at Ticketmaster.com.
