Weezer, the 90’s nerd rock band that has such hits as Buddy Holly and Beverly Hills announced a 30 date US “shed” tour in the summer, kicking off in June. The trek will include a stop at Fiddlers Green in Denver on August 28th with support from Spoon and White Reaper.
The band burst on the scene in 1994 with The Blue Album and their quirky song Buddy Holly plus the nostalgic and idiosyncratic music video that accompanied it (above). Subsequent rock radio hits such as Say it Ain’t So and Undone – The Sweater Song made the band one of the standouts of a rock filled era. This will be the band’s first appearance since a stop in 2018 with The Pixies at the same Fiddlers Green.
Tickets for the general public go on sale Friday, March 3, at 10 a.m. at AXS.com.
