As a Denver native, and as one of the city’s most recognizable personalities, Vic Lombardi is branching out from talking exclusively about sports and into the world of podcasting with his new show Vic Lombardi’s Denver. On it, Vic interviews a who’s who of guests from across the region who help to make Denver the special place that it is.
“I love this city. I was born here and I grew up on the north side,” says Lombardi. “This project is my love letter to Denver where I get to feature so many of the people who contribute to the fabric of what makes this place unique.”
The first episode of Vic Lombardi’s Denver features a conversation with Colorado Music Hall of Fame inductee Chuck Morris, former President & CEO of AEG Presents Rocky Mountains, former partner of both Bill Graham and Barry Fey, and manager of The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Big Head Todd & the Monsters, and many others. The conversation spans Morris’s incredible career and includes remarkable anecdotes about Phil Anschutz, U2, Willie Nelson and more. The episode is available on podcatchers everywhere or embedded at the bottom of this very post.
Guests already confirmed and/or recorded for the podcast include Mayor Michael Hancock, 9News Meteorologist Kathy Sabine, Comedy Works Owner Wende Curtis, former Denver Bronco and entrepreneur Reggie Rivers, comedian Adam Cayton-Holland, former State Senate Minority Leader and consultant Josh Penry, and United States Representative Ed Perlmutter.
